Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grant -closes TODAY at 4:30 p.m
WISCONSIN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION 

The Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grant program will award $420 million to small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is intended to support businesses who are hardest hit by the pandemic and are key to Wisconsin making a strong recovery. The program is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) in collaboration with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and is funded with money received from the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act....

'It's very zippy': UW Oshkosh students engineer their own electric vehicle

MENASHA — UW Oshkosh engineering students are getting hands-on experience with electric vehicle technology. They built their own electric basic utility vehicle from scratch at the Fox Cities campus in Menasha.

"It’s very zippy," said Cesar Campos-Martinez, a junior at UW-O. "You just step on it a little bit and it goes."

The 1,000-pound open-air vehicle tops out at 25 mph. Its four, 12-volt batteries give the vehicle a range of about 40 miles...

Bergstrom raises over $150,000 to help grant wishes for local children

APPLETON – Bergstrom Automotive’s 2021 Drive for Dreams campaign raised $154,150 which will help grant the wishes of local children battling critical illnesses.

The Drive for Dreams campaign was ran at all Bergstrom dealerships, and for every test drive taken $5 was donated. Additionally, $5 was donated for each new fan on social media. On May 22, Bergstrom dealerships held a special Oil Change Day which offered free oil changes with a donation of $15 or more to Make-A-Wish-Wisconsin....
