McMahon designs office suite for First Weber Realtors of Oshkosh
McMAHON

NEENAH – McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering and architectural firm, was the design team behind First Weber Realtors' new office space in Oshkosh, located at 1660 Oshkosh Ave., Suite 100.

The office is on the first floor of a two-story building that was newly constructed in 2020. McMahon worked closely with the First Weber Realtors team to design the interior space to be efficient and functional.

“An office space should feel right and function well. Working with First Weber Realtors was great because they are very established in their industry and knew what type of environment would work best for them,” said Steve Knuth, McMahon architectural designer. “It is our job as architects and engineers to take our clients’ vision and turn it into a true working environment.”.

Grants help local cheesemakers thrive
DOOR COUNTY DAILY NEWS

DOOR COUNTY -- Thanks to a pair of grants, you will see more cheese churned out by a local cheesemaker. Renard’s Cheese, located in Sturgeon Bay and Algoma, was one of 19 Wisconsin dairy processors to receive a Dairy Processor Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection earlier this month.

The $24,000 grant will be used to develop a new Factory Equipment Grant to ease the physical demands of artisan cheese making and increase production capabilities. Renard’s Cheese produced over three million pounds of cheese last year but had to turn away orders for almost as much because of production limits. As they plan their expansion efforts in the future, owners Chris and Ann Renard say the grant dollars will go a long way....

The new building marks a major milestone in the agency’s 50+ year history, and is the result of a feasibility study, years of planning, and raising over $2,850,000 to make the dream a reality. “Many, many people collaborated to make this happen,” said executive director Rosangela Berbert. “We knew we had to do something as we had outgrown our existing facility which we leased. We could not find a suitable existing property, so we decided to build. Shortly after we launched the campaign, Covid hit. We contemplated stepping back but were advised to push forward and here we are,” she explained...
