Governor Evers, together with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, announced the Internet for All Wisconsin Listening Tour, a series of nine in-person and two virtual interactive meetings to help develop the state 5-year Action Plan and state Digital Equity Plan.

These events are an opportunity for the public to share their experiences, ideas, and vision for a more connected Wisconsin. Participants can expect to learn more about the two Internet For All programs: Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) and Digital Equity Planning, being administered by the Commission. A veteran's best friend: Organization provides service dogs to military members

FOND DU LAC - An organization in Wisconsin is putting man’s best friend on the front lines of veteran care. Dogs2DogTags provides rescue dogs to veterans or military members and helps train them to be service dogs.

The idea came to founder Torre Willadsen while he was training bomb dogs for the Marine Corps.

"I saw the benefits of the dogs while we were in Afghanistan, not only on a working level but on a morale level,” Willadsen said...

The new organization will introduce a new program called MatchUp during a presentation at the Door County Economic Development Corporation on May 23rd at 11 a.m. The program is designed to help older adults who want to find a part-time job find employers who need reliable and experienced workers. Froedtert, LTC to break ground on new $4 million facility that doubles capacity to train health care professionals

1,500 healthcare and emergency services students, and professionals who take classes, are to be supported each year with the addition of the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Health Care Excellence at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland. Groundbreaking for the $4 million facility will take place on Monday, May 22nd, attended by senior officials from Froedtert Health, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, and Froedtert-Holy Family Medical. Registration is now open for the 2023 Manufacturing First Expo & Conference, which will take place Oct. 25 in Green Bay.

For the second year in a row, Manufacturing First will be held at Resch Expo — a location change that allowed for significant expansion and record attendance at the 12th-annual event in 2022.
