Original New North artwork to be unveiled at June 9 Summit at Lambeau
NEW NORTH, INC. NEW NORTH – The unveiling of original artwork by Gregory Frederic of CrewlArt will be one of the highlights of the annual New North Summit, set for Thursday, June 9, at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay. The piece represents the spectrum of people and activities within the region.
Frederic’s art connects with an interactive digital mosaic, which is engaging participants leading up to the event. The mosaic will represent the many different people, cultures and talents that come together to power the New North region. Evers awards Marinette Marine tax credits to help hire workers and complete facility upgrades for frigate contract
GREEN BAY PRESS GAZETTE MARINETTE - Gov. Tony Evers on Thursday announced $12 million in state tax credits to help Fincantieri Marinette Marine ramp up production of the Navy's new guided missile frigate. Evers and Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. officials visited Marinette Thursday to tour Building 34, the company's newly completed production facility on the shipbuilder's campus. The building, which took 15 months to finish, gives the company a climate-controlled building big enough for workers to build two of the 500-foot Constellation class frigates at the same time, said Fincantieri Marinette Marine CEO Mark Vandroff...

A flock of Bird scooters has landed in Fond du Lac. Here's what you need to know
FOND DU LAC REPORTER FOND DU LAC – If you need a lift this summer, Fond du Lac is the latest city in the region to roll out rentable electric scooters. The City Council approved an ordinance last month regulating the use and rental of electric scooters in Fond du Lac, and greenlit Bird Rides Inc. to bring 50 to 75 rentable scooters to the city as part of its app-based scooter sharing program. gENER8TOR SKILLS NEW NORTH -- Microsoft, New North, and Bay Area Workforce Development Board have partnered with gener8tor, a turnkey platform for the creative economy, to execute a free skills program focused on Customer Service and Sales. Help get people to apply for this program on June 27th. Applications will be accepted through June 20th, 2022. How the Program Works: Once applicants apply and are accepted, they will spend 5-weeks in the program.
