DE PERE – A brand new grief and education center has opened its doors to support individuals or families who have experienced a death.
Unity, a northeast Wisconsin hospice provider, opened up a first-of-its-kind building that is aimed at helping those who are grieving in the community.

St. Norbert College graduate who had role in historic surgery to give commencement speech

DE PERE -- A doctor who helped separate 10-month-old conjoined twins in a historical surgery will be this year's commencement speaker at St. Norbert College.
Dr. Oluyemisi Adeyemi Fowode will address students, staff and their families during commencement on Sunday, May 15, outside on the quad just west of the Campus Center.
Adeyemi-Fowode started her college journey at the age of 15 and graduated from St. Norbert College magna cum laude in 2004 at age 19 with a degree in chemistry (pre-med track). She was the student speaker for her graduating class that year..
