St. Norbert College announces sexual assault awareness month events
ST. NORBERT COLLEGE 

DE PERE -- St. Norbert College is raising awareness of sexual assault and gender-based violence prevention. Various on-campus events are scheduled throughout April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Each event is free and open to the public. Specific event details are as follows:

Take Back the (K)Night: Monday, April 11, 7- 9 p.m., in Fort Howard Theater at F. K. Bemis International Center, 299 Third St., De Pere. Take Back the Night is an event that provides space for reclamation. Hosted by the Equality Project at St. Norbert College, the group adds a “K” in recognition of the college’s mascot to claim a space within the SNC community for survivors of gender-based violence and their supporters. During this event, student and faculty speakers will share their experiences related to topics such as sexual assault, mental health, race, body image, sexuality and more...

Fond du Lac Regional Job Fair 1-4 pm Wednesday, April 13; First FDL Job Fair Since Before the Pandemic
FOX VALLEY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD     

FOND DU LAC -- The Fond du Lac Regional Job Fair will return to the Expo Center at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds, 1-4 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. The Fox Valley Job Centers, the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, are sponsoring this year’s recruitment event to take place at the Fond du Lac Expo Center, 520 Fond du lac Avenue, Fond du Lac. This year marks the return of the annual event, which was disrupted in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With 82 employers representing Fond du Lac and 10 surrounding counties, job seekers will have the opportunity to learn about hundreds of available jobs representing a wide variety of industries at all skill levels. This public, no-fee job fair is open to everyone regardless of current employment status. Full and part-time jobs will be available in addition to seasonal summer help and apprenticeship opportunities. Businesses from across the region will feature a wide mix of available positions including office, service, manufacturing, healthcare, skilled trades and other professional positions.

New Trail Will Link Five Kaukauna Locks, Grignon Mansion
COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR THE FOX VALLEY REGION  

KAUKAUNA -- People are often surprised to learn the drop in the Fox River’s elevation between Lake Winnebago and the river’s mouth in Green Bay is about equal to the height of Niagara Falls. The largest portion of that drop – more than 50 feet – is contained within the five locks in Kaukauna.

You will soon be able to access information about the locks in the Kaukauna area while taking a leisurely stroll. The new 1.3-mile Kaukauna Interpretive Trail will bring hikers and bikers within view of all five Kaukauna Locks and links to the settlement-era Grignon Mansion. Way-finding signs will communicate information and lore about the world’s only working, hand-operated lock system....

Menasha corporation names Kimberly Underhill to its board of directors
MENASHA CORPORATION  

NEENAH – Menasha Corporation announces the appointment of Kimberly Underhill to its board effective May 1, 2022. Underhill brings a wealth of strategic leadership experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry. She recently retired from Kimberly-Clark Corporation following a 32-year career that culminated in the role of Group President of its largest business unit, Kimberly-Clark North America. Earlier in her Kimberly-Clark career, Underhill held various marketing, supply chain, and research and engineering positions before progressing to executive leadership roles that included Global President of Kimberly-Clark’s business-to-business unit and President of its European consumer business.

Manitowoc's Kaysun Corporation expanding facility, to add more jobs

MANITOWOC -- A Manitowoc company is expanding, with plans to add an additional 75 positions over the next several years.

Kaysun Corporation says it will grow its current manufacturing facility in the city's industrial park by roughly 55,000 square feet and an additional 10,000 square feet for office space.

Kaysun is an injection molding company and says it has seen a recent increase in demand for some of its products...

GREEN BAY — Following a two-year hiatus, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will be hosting College Draft Day at the Lambeau Field Atrium (fourth floor), April 22, 2022, from 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. More than one hundred local high school students will have the opportunity to participate in the free event and be inspired by homegrown Green Bay Packers player, Cole Van Lanen, a graduate of Bay Port High School.
