STURGEON BAY -- Generally speaking, once the ice is clear, the season for shipping on the Great Lakes can begin.

The SOO Locks on Lake Superior in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. are scheduled to open on Saturday, clearing the way for the ships to sail. And in Sturgeon Bay, the Winter Fleet at Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding is leaving one boat at a time.

HARTWELL, GA --  Redline Plastics, a rotational molding and thermoforming plastics manufacturer which also specializes in commercial sewing and fiberglass-reinforced plastics announced that it has acquired Quality Holdings, LLC, a rotational and compression molding company in Hartwell, Georgia. The deal was announced on March 20th, 2023.

National Exchange Bank & Trust Chairman of the Board Peter Stone has announced that James Chatterton, president and COO, will retire from the bank after 35 years of service. Eric Stone, current CEO, will assume the president/CEO combined role.

Chatterton served as the chief executive officer of American Bank for 17 years, before becoming president of National Exchange Bank & Trust when the two banks merged in 2016. Chatterton was instrumental in the successful merger of the two banks, and is known for connecting with people — both customers and employees....
