The countdown is under way for middle- and high-school students to enter Wisconsin Youth Entrepreneurs in Science, a statewide youth business plan contest modeled after the successful Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest. It is open for online entries from Wisconsin middle- and high-school students through 5 p.m., April 13, 2022.
Public, private and home-schooled students across Wisconsin are eligible to turn their science- and tech-related ideas into business plans and compete for cash and prizes. Howards Grove FFA uses hydroponics to feed the hungry in Sheboygan County

HOWARDS GROVE – The Howards Grove chapter of the Future Farmers of America is helping feed the hungry by using hydroponic technology to grow fresh produce for the Sheboygan County Food Bank.

In 2017, Wisconsin established a pilot program that allowed farmers to grow hemp legally for the first time in 60 years. Peggy Coffeen and her husband, Kevin, considered the opportunity.
