Community Climate Champion Launch Event

Wednesday 29 September, 5pm to 6.30pm

Over the past 6-months we have been working with a pilot group of Northumberland residents to develop the Community Climate Champion network. We are pleased to announce the official launch of network will take place online on Wednesday 29 September at 5pm.

The event itself will be hosted by Leader of Northumberland County Council Glen Sanderson, and he will be joined by key engagement staff and a guest speaker panel made up of members from the Community Climate Champion pilot group.

Following the event, we will be welcoming applications to the network open to anyone residing in Northumberland with a passion for helping our county reach net-zero.

Domestic Emissions Dashboard

We have developed our very own Domestic Emissions Dashboard for Northumberland. The dashboard allows residents to look up the carbon emissions produced by homes in their postcode including the average emissions per home.

We want residents to use the dashboard to help save money on bills while helping save the planet from the disastrous effects of climate change. Simply enter your postcode and choose a carbon saving measure to see what you could save.
