At NZF Australia, we recognise these immense challenges our Muslim brothers and sisters who settle in Australia as refugees or asylum seekers face, as many of them arrive without access to essential resources, skills, and employment opportunities.
That's why they're one category of people that we distribute Zakat to when they meet all the relevant eligibility requirements. We also help provide them end-to-end services that empower them and help them realise the future they deserve.
This Ramadan, when considering where and how to give your Zakat, remember that there are people like them right here in our community who need our Zakat and intervention, because the government often does not support them. |
