Subject: The Greatest Day of the Year is here - Tomorrow!

  • Arafah is a day of great virtue and is the best day of the year
  • The religion was completed on the day of Arafah
  • Seize the opportunity: do ‘ibadah and give Sadaqah abundantly
Assalamu Alaykum,

This year, the 9th of Dhull Hijjah - the day of ‘Arafah - will fall on Saturday 10 August.

It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“There is no day on which Allaah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of ‘Arafah. He comes close and expresses His pride to the angels, saying, ‘What do these people want?’”

The greatest day of the year is tomorrow. It’s virtues and blessings are numerous and open to those who seek them. There is great reward for fasting, making du’a and doing all manner of good deeds - and one of the deeds most beloved to Allah is giving Sadaqah. Don’t hold back this Arafah and make sure your Sadaqah counts by giving generously - you have everything to gain, and literally nothing to lose.
