Yesterday was a dark day for all Muslims and in particular for our brothers and sisters in Christchurch.
Many of you have reached out to find out if NZF is doing anything to support the victims of the attack.
We are currently coordinating relief with key organisations across Australia and are in close contact with The Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand inc. (FIANZ) who are advising us closely on exactly what is needed on the ground. We will continue these coordination efforts to ensure we are working as much as possible in an efficient manner.
Our aim is to be ready collectively as one Ummah from Australia with all the resources that are needed in Christchurch, so we can deploy these as needed in an effective manner.

Our duas and prayers are with all those affected by this attack and we pray that Allah gives us the strength and guidance to do our best to support our brothers & sisters during their time of difficulty. Ameen.
