Updates from Mundekulla Garden…
Dear Mundekulla friends,
This year the Garden at Mundekulla has seen many exciting new projects. Some are already bearing fruit, while others are still in progress — all in all, it’s been a season of growth and change.
One highlight has been opening our new farm shop and café. Alongside fresh vegetables and local products, we now offer coffee and homemade cakes, making it a cozy place to stop by. It has also been a joy to pack and share our first vegetable subscription bags, and to meet all the wonderful people who’ve visited. My vision has been to offer soulful, sustainable products from local small-scale producers, and it’s inspiring to see that come to life.
Another big step this spring was building a new greenhouse — now brimming with tomatoes of many colors, along with physalis, aubergines, peppers, and chillies. Our former greenhouse is now home to cucumbers and even the occasional melon.
And most exciting of all, we’ve begun a three-year agroforestry project with LEADER support! Together with a skilled consultant, we’ve designed 300 meters of fruit, berries, herbs, and vegetables — half of which will be planted this autumn. The first planting will take place during our upcoming workshop, “Foundations and Principles of Syntropic Farming”. This is a unique chance to join and get hands-on experience with a living syntropic system while learning from Felipe Amato and the Mundekulla team.
The Garden keeps growing — wild, abundant, and full of life. We hope to see you here soon!
Warm greetings,
Elin, garden manager, and Mundekulla team
