Come Home to Mundekulla
Hej,
There’s a kind of stillness here I wish I could bottle and send to you. Not the empty kind—this one has roots. It lives in the moss, the compost, the stones we chose not to replace. It lingers in every corner. You feel it in your shoulders the moment you step into Mundekulla. A kind of exhale that says, “Ah. This makes sense.”
That’s Mundekulla. Seventy hectares of forest embracing carefully shaped spaces for retreats, workshops, strategy sessions and personal stays. Wetlands, hand-built cabins, and just enough structure to hold a community without crowding it. Over the past couple of years, we’ve gently guided it into a new chapter—not to reinvent it, but to let what was always here speak more clearly. And to find the language for its deeper purpose: regeneration—for people, for ecosystems, for the organisations that gather here. For you!
And it’s speaking. Audibly.
The trees, for example, quietly draw down over 600 tons of CO₂ from the air each year. That’s more than twenty times what we emit. Not because we’re chasing certification, but because we’ve chosen to let forests grow, soils recover, to live slower, and keep what works. The old kitchen still hums. The Volvo still runs. And we trust in repurposing—because longevity, not novelty, is what we all seem to ask for.
These days, it’s not just individuals arriving for reflection. More and more, organisations find their way here too. Some come with strategy decks and carbon targets. Somewhere between the forest walks and the shared meals, or at the bonfire, something softens. People remember what the work was for. What they hoped it might mean. And often, they leave with lighter shoulders, clearer minds—and a will to bring their decisions closer to what nature needs.
Mundekulla doesn’t hand out answers. But it holds space for better questions. It gives people—of all kinds, from all places—a moment to pause the noise and tune back in to something slower, older, more grounded.
And what’s lovely is, the circle isn’t closing. It’s widening. Many of the guests and workshop leaders who’ve been coming for years still return. New ones are arriving. And somehow, it’s all folding together into something living, breathing, and deeply human.
So this is us, sending you a nudge.
If you’ve been wondering whether to make time, take a step back, reconnect—this is your sign. We’d love to see you. The forest’s still here. The path’s been cleared. Your spot at the table’s waiting.
Come home.
Come home to Mundekulla.
With warmth, always,
The Mundekulla team
