Making the Cross Accessible for People with Visual

Impairments & Blindness

One of the many ways Special Touch Ministry shares the love of Christ is through our Blind Services program, providing accessible curriculum, children's resources, evangelism tools, and personal encouragement to individuals and families affected by vision loss.

Thank you for equipping us to reach people who might not otherwise have access to the Gospel in a format they can understand. Thank you for helping us serve a population of people who are often forgotten

Recently, we met with a family whose son is experiencing vision loss. Along with encouragement, support, and information, we were able to place accessible Bible resources directly into their hands. Before long, the children were gathered together, listening to God's Word and exploring it in a way that everyone could experience together. Moments like this remind us that accessibility is about more than providing resources—it is about ensuring every person has the opportunity to know Jesus.

God continues to open doors beyond what we could have imagined. During a recent visit with a Christian man (who is blind) from a sensitive country, we were able to provide Braille and tactile resources for him to take home and share with others. We also connected him with training through the Indispensable People Podcast, DFC Video Library, and other accessible tools- equipping him to serve people with disabilities in his own country.

As we move forward, we are excited to continue building

relationships that lead to further ministry. As God provides new opportunities for us to connect with professionals and outreach events specifically reaching people with visual impairments and blindness. Every conversation, every connection, and every Bible shared, is possible because of faithful partners like you.

Thank you for helping Special Touch Ministry ensure that people who are blind or visually impaired are not forgotten, but are welcomed, valued, and equipped to grow in their faith.
