Unlock New Giving Rewards!

As we step into the 2026 tax season, we're thrilled to share some monumental news that can amplify your impact!

Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, new federal tax incentives have been introduced to reward your generosity.

Imagine transforming your kindness into greater possibilities for those who rely on our services. Your caring heart can lead to even more change. Let’s harness this opportunity together, as every act counts and makes a world of difference!

Here is a guide to maximizing your impact while making the most of these new tax breaks.

The New "Universal Deduction"

Even if you don’t itemize your taxes, you can now claim a direct deduction for cash gifts. This "above-the-line" benefit is permanent and will adjust for inflation.

  • Single Filers: Deduct up to $1,000

  • Joint Filers: Deduct up to $2,000

Tax-Free Giving via IRAs (Ages 73+)

If you are 73 or older, you must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA. This is usually taxed as income—unless you donate it.

  • The Strategy: You can transfer up to $111,000 directly to us as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).

  • The Win: This satisfies your RMD for the year without adding a penny to your taxable income.

Make Your 2026 Impact Today

Remember that these new $1,000/$2,000 deductions will only apply to gifts made starting January 1, 2026, because there was no "universal deduction" for the previous tax year.

Every dollar allows us to continue our vital work. As you file your 2025 taxes this April, we recommend consulting your tax advisor to maximize these new incentives for your 2026 giving strategy.
