Subject: A mission field right in our backyard: Summer 2026

Anticipation is building for a Christ-centered 2026 Summer Get Away season!

Each year, STM Summer Get Aways serve as a profound source of joy and hope. These aren't just vacations; they are moments where God moves mightily:

  • In Kentucky: Two roommates experienced a life-changing moment at the altar. After praying together, they embraced, saying, "I finally have a best friend." True fellowship in Christ happens here.

  • In the Northeast: During a 2025 service, guests and volunteers alike traded their own perspectives for the eyes of Christ. Our husband-and-wife coordinators discovered God had revealed the exact same word to both of them simultaneously. God speaks to everyone here—guests and volunteers alike.

  • In Wisconsin: Guests shared a deep hunger to know God more, wishing their local churches were as spiritually accessible as the Get Away. For many people with disabilities, this week is their primary connection to the Body of Christ.

We cannot do this without you. From our prayer warriors and medical professionals to our energetic Caregivers in Training (CITs), YOU are the essential heart of this ministry.

Whether 2026 marks your 1st year or your 35th, we invite you to join the Summer Get Away team. We need you to say YES to a mission field that serves those whom God calls indispensable.

Many say it takes a "special person" to serve people with disabilities, but we know the truth: it simply takes the love of Jesus.

Will you join us in making Jesus known and changing lives for eternity?

Thank you for being the heart of this ministry!

In His Love, Tracie Corll Co-Director, Special Touch Ministry
