Be a Beacon of Hope

Disability Ministry is more than a program; it’s a welcoming embrace. Every person deserves a place where they feel valued and included. You and your church can be that beacon of hope!

Tips to Enhance Disability Ministry in your church:

Listen - Understanding individual needs fosters genuine connection and connections lead to deeper relationships. Authentic relationships lead to trust.

Create ACCESSIBLE spaces, groups, and discipleship - Physical accessibility makes a world of difference, but social and spiritual accessibility makes the church! Provide the resources your church needs to "Make the Cross Accessible."

Equip Volunteers - Train your team to build a caring environment that builds one another up and spurs each other on to be co-laborers in Christ. See QR code on back.

Build Relationships - Connect with individuals with disabilities, but don't stop there. Nurture deeper ties within the family as a whole.

Celebrate Diversity - Highlight the unique gifts each person brings to your community. Also, recognize the daily struggles these individuals may need to overcome to be a light in the darkness.

Together, we can cultivate an environment that reflects Christ's love. Let's take steps that inspire and uplift. So that we can be BETTER TOGETHER as we serve Christ to reach those in our backyards, communities, states, nation, and across the world.
