Subject: My Personal Thoughts On Co-ops

If you don't know what a co-op is, it's where your team pools their money together and goes out to advertise as a group. The advantage being, you can get far more exposure together than any one marketer can get on their own.

So let me share a few thoughts on co-ops from both sides of the table.

If your team currently has a co-op available to you to plug into, that's great, you should if you're new. It will help you get off to a fast start, but . . .

Here's where I draw the line.

Never use a co-op to try to finance your success. Back when I ran co-ops a lot I had people who would try to buy multiple shares in an attempt to pay their way to success. As a result I limited participants to 2 shares a month at most and only let people participate a certain number of times.

The reason is, it's a sign of weakness, of passivity, for a person to try to buy their way to recruits. It's not a long term strategy. Co-ops are hugely powerful to help you get off to a fast start, but can become a handicap if you try to use them to finance your way to success.

Your business grows by leadership and anyone who tries to sidestep their own leadership by simply paying for instant results is not grooming in themselves the right qualities necessary for long term and high level success.

Now, if your team doesn't have a co-op, then you're lucky, you start one and you will virtually guarantee the success of your business.

Why? You'll have the ability to control a much larger marketing fund than just your own.

You'll be able to attack the lead generation tasks associated with the growth of your business fully loaded, and the benefit hidden below surface is . . .

It's NOT your money, so you take how you control and spend that money far more seriously than if it was your own. In doing so, you become a true leader and one others will flock to.

Co-ops are powerful in my book. Conservatively, i know people that through co-ops have recruited over 1500 people for his team members to help them take their business to the next level.

And if you're not stepping up to the plate to run one for your team today let this be the wake up call you need to take action.

You're team members and your business will thank you for it.
