Subject: Why is Logisticare Contacting Me?!

Hello to everyone in the Million Dollar Transportation Community!  As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well and business is booming!

If God doesn't have a sense of humor!

Logisticare Illinois starting peppering our phones last week and into this week.  Dan spoke with them on Friday to determine they wanted our assistance helping with the credentialing process of their transportation providers in the communist state of Illinois.  Dan told them they would need to speak with me.

Yesterday afternoon we finally connected and, again, they asked if we would help with their credentialing process.  But the absolutely best part...…....wait for it...…….wait for it...……..they wanted us to do it for FREE!!  LOL!

OMG!  I'm not making this up.

Yeah, sign me up for that obligation!  When I asked for their proposed compensation there was a pause of complete amazement that I wasn't going to do it for free to, as he said, "help transportation providers!"  LOL!

When I said we are way too busy to volunteer "man hours" he said they might be able to offer us a fixed fee for those who are approved.  I then apologized and said I am not Barak Obama and I don't work on "hope and change!'  We would need legitimate compensation before we even attempt to provide service versus waiting for possible "approvals."

So what's the moral of the story?

Never take it personally when Logisticare treats you like crap - seriously!  We work with so many of client-providers who are surprised when Logisticare and other brokers treat your like crap - expect you to work for FREE or for a nominal fee at best.  They really do believe they are God's gift to your business and their $h*t doesn't stink.

As I have always said, brokers want men in business, not "businessmen."  They want women in business, not "businesswomen."  More specifically, the last thing they want or expect are smart, sound, businessmen and businesswomen who act with good business sense and acumen.

ALWAYS make your decisions on the margin and remember, "time is money and money is time" - never waste it!

See you at the Top!
