Subject: Serious Disaster with Different Results

Hello to all my Million Dollar Peeps!  As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well, and business is booming!

I know, I know it's tough for such pleasantries when so many people are suffering with the chaos in LA and surrounding communities.  We have a lot of CA-based client-providers who are, thankfully, safe and sound.  Sadly, others are not.  Although safe, they're businesses have been and will continue to be adversely effected by current events.

I shared in previous correspondence how we took a serious gut punch in September with the floods in North Carolina.  A full third of our operations ceased to exist overnight as we were based in and around Asheville, the epicenter of the flood.  Below are pictures from some of our contractors who lost their trucks, and more.

Because many of our contractors have had to leave and/or take different jobs in an effort to rebuild, we too are having to restructure and rebuild, but here is the biggest difference.  Despite both areas being crushed by natural disasters, because the vast majority of our business is 1099 contractor-based, we're not taking continued losses.

Trust me, losing a full third of your revenue overnight seriously sucks, but I consider us "getting off easy" as compared to many of our contractors and their families.  We lost revenue, but we're not out of business, and although we're restructuring, we're not having to rebuild from scratch.  We lost revenue, but we're not taking losses.

This leads to the purpose of this message.  With us having to restructure, we're also having to makes personnel changes which leads to how and what we coach with our YouAreTheBroker.com client-providers.

Since the flood, we've had to pause bringing on new client-providers because not only have we been seriously distracted, we lost some of our contractors who were helping with direct coaching and mentoring.

Although being a little more selective because of time and availability, we hope to possibly resume in mid to late February and plan to be even more one-on-one coaching-based in an effort to expedite.

Needless to say, we'll have a lot more to discuss based on recent experiences, so if you've been following us and you're serious about launching a NON-NEMT logistics business, a business that doesn't deal with Medicaid and/or brokers, email us a quick message at jdavis@milliondollartransportation.com and let us know.

We'll be creating a new database and keep you updated on what we're doing and when we're ready to launch.  Likewise, contact us with any questions.

See you at the Top!
