Subject: Good insight from a motivated couple

Happy Saturday afternoon, everyone!

This is Dawn.  I hope you are all having a great weekend!

I know the weekends aren't the best time to send out emails and videos because people are less engaged, doing family time and other personal things, but the weekend is actually the best time for us to catch up on a lot of administrative tasks.  We do much of our phone calls for market analysis projects and direct correspondence with providers during the week, so the weekend is a great catch-up for us.

In part of catching up, I would like to share the below message from another great husband and wife team who we have been working with for a while.  The reason why I am sharing this particular message is because she brings up a really good point.  She writes, "I would like to think we are relatively smart people, but I think it's just one of those things that what you don't know you just don't know and that is when you are vulnerable."

That is such a good point.  As Loretta mentions, her background and experience is accounting and her husband was a project manager.  As I am sure you can imagine, we work with a wide range of people from all different types of backgrounds, education, and levels of experience, so it is far from uncommon for us to witness business owners who are very smart and educated but still make mistakes.  Especially when you mix in overbearing control of brokers, and things can definitely get out of hand.

Please read below and let Loretta's comments serve as inspiration to you if you have "beat yourself up" on making mistakes.  Things can always be turned around if you are willing to work and used sound strategy.

Enjoy and let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Dawn Velasquez
