Hello to everyone within the Million Dollar Transportation Community!
  As always, I hope that this message finds you all doing well and
that business is booming!

I want to share with you a GREAT questions I recently received from
Tim Miller in Ohio.  I have received similar questions in the past, but
it seems like it's been a while.  Please read the following Q&A:

believe that my market is ripe for this opportunity.  In so doing, I
have been solicited to purchase an NEMT franchise.  Do you think
this is a good idea?  From your newsletters I gather that it is not. 
Can you offer some more insight and information?"

Thank you so much for the great question!  Let me share with you
just the Top 5 factual reasons why I think that investing in an NEMT
franchise is an absolute waste of time, money, and effort!

1. Upfront costs to invest in an NEMT franchise is a minimum of
$50,000-100,000!  That's a LOT of money just to put someone
else's name and logo on the side of your vehicle!

2. Even after paying a ton of money for someone else's name, you
STILL have to pay for your own vehicles and equipment!  Your
franchise fees don't cover the cost of any assets, insurance, or
office location!

3. On top of your franchise fees, cost of asset acquisition, and
operating expenses, you're obligated to paying a minimum 5% of
GROSS revenue - MONTHLY!

4. Even though you're purchasing an NEMT franchise, you STILL
have to go through all the licensing and registration requirements
independently!

5. There are NO guaranteed sources of revenue or contracts -
you're on your own (but you got a cool, high priced logo)!

Those are the Top 5 factual reasons - requirements and
stipulations that I'm not making up!  Do your own research if you
wish to confirm.

Now, let me share with you my own feelings, opinions, and
experience on this subject.

Over the years I've had three different people and venture
capitalists approach me with the ideas/strategies of turning the
MDT Business Opportunity into a franchise.  However, I am
totally against the franchise strategy for this type of business. 
Call me shortsighted or a non-visionary.  I'm comfortable with
that.

Long story short, I started my business with ONE vehicle and
one vehicle ONLY!  And guess what, so can you!  You do NOT
need a ton of money, a cool logo, or an established company
name to be successful in this industry!

Could I have been making a ton of money if I had turned the
MDT Business Opportunity into a franchise?  Heck yeah!  But
that would be like making me a high priced hooker! 

Why - because I didn't start that way so how can I encourage
and teach you to do something I did NOT do myself?!

Trust me.  Like me, there are people all across the country that
have started their business, operating with limited capital and
start-up, and have built their businesses into a thriving and
prosperous venture!

If you don't want to build your business into a Million Dollar
business, that's fine!  For simplicity, you can keep your
venture small and streamlined.

Now don't get me wrong!  If you want to send me a check for
$50,000-100,000 I'll gladly welcome it.  Further, if you want me
pick pocketing you each and every month, skimming money off
the top of your gross revenue for the existence of your business,
then by all means, send me the checks! 

My encouragement to you all is to be FREE!  Be independent! 
Empower yourself!  Establish your own identity!  Create your
own destiny! 

Am I biased?  Yes, absolutely!  Why - because I've literally
started with nothing and experienced great success as are
countless other entrepreneurs! 

You do not need hundreds of thousands of dollars to start this
business.  And you most certainly do not need to have an
NEMT pimp that you're obligated to and have to pay monthly
revenue to!  Use all your money to further build your business
and prosperity!  Don't put it in someone else's pocket!
