Hi Friend
In our recent Conscious Women’s Survey, I was struck by two of our most significant concerns when it comes to leadership around the world. Here’s what conscious women are seeing:
74% Lack of accountability in leadership
65% Narcissistic abuse in leadership
Put those together and you have formula for feeling betrayed by our leaders.
A narcissistic leader will tell us what we want to hear; however, the leader doesn’t have a sense of accountability to others—so we typically experience little to no follow-through with their promises.
Or their follow-through is in greater alignment with their own self-interest, not true social well-being. As a result, we witness leadership that either supports or allows human rights abuses.
This can happen whether narcissistic leadership is functioning in our families, businesses, spiritual organizations, or governments.
In the ancient practices I’ve been privileged to study and share, there are two sacred principles that make a leader (or anyone, for that matter)—trustworthy.
With these 2 principles working together, a leader either holds themselves responsible or is held responsible for living in soul-centered integrity.
In my most recent YouTube video, I share the first spiritual principle of trustworthy leadership.
If you engage in leadership, in any area of your life—at home with your family, in your career, or volunteer work, or as an elder in your community…
… I invite you to watch the video. Knowing this powerful principle can help you be the trustworthy, respectful, and loving individual you want to be. 💖
And this principle will help you identify more trustworthy people—including partners, business leaders, teachers, spiritual guides and leaders in government.
