At CreativeCon and the Creativity Festival, students attend 3 sessions led by professionals in the community. Participants experience creative thinking and problem-solving in STEM fields and the arts.

CreativeCon for 5th though 8th grade is at the Science Museum of Minnesota. The Creativity Festival for grades 3rd-5th is at the University of Minnesota.

At STEMLink, STEM careers come to life as students participate in 3 interactive sessions in college labs with professionals in the STEM fields. This field trip is for students in 5th and 6th grade and takes place at 3 colleges in the Twin Cities metro area.

The 2019 Young Authors Conference theme is Expect the Unexpected! Where Will Writing Take You?

Students will use the written word to explore unexpected paths and make discoveries about themselves, their capabilities, and the impact they can have on others.

The Young Authors Conference is a field trip for students in 4th through 8th grade that takes place at Bethel University's main campus. Students attend a keynote address and three interactive writing sessions led by local authors and writing professionals.

Knowledge Bowl is a season of
after-school academic competitions that promote academic achievement and rewards excellence.

During a meet, teams of students work cooperatively to solve oral and written round questions.

The Future City Competition is a project-based program where students in grades 6-8 imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future.


The 2018-2019 theme is Powering Our Future. Teams will design a resilient power grid for their future city that can withstand and quickly recover from the impacts of a natural disaster.

Golfers: Foursomes are preferred; singles and doubles will be placed on teams. Golfers must be 21 years old to participate.
