School Culture & Climate Engagement Series: Building Community & Engaging Voices

October 21, 2025, November 4, 2025, November 18, 2025, December 2, 2025, & December 16, 2025

1:30PM - 3:30PM

This series will support leaders in building strong engagement practices to facilitate a positive school climate.

Participants will:

Learn about the importance of building a strong school community inclusive of students, family, and community voices.
Gain strategies on building connectedness and meaningful relationships.

Audience: Ideal for building level Climate & Culture leaders (prefer 2-3 members to attend). District level climate and culture leaders are also welcomed to attend.

Delivery: Six 2-hour Virtual Session

Math Instructional Systems Leadership Series

November 4, 2025, December 2, 2025, January 6, 2026, February 3, 2026, & March 3, 2026

1:00PM - 2:30PM

Join the COMPASS Math Team in a 6 session professional learning series starting with building a Math Vision and Theory of Action informed by your local context.

Topics include:

Learning acceleration,
Observation protocols,
Mathematical practices,
& Laying the groundwork for the shifts in the new 2022 Math Standards.

Audience: Building and District leaders, School Administrators, Curriculum Directors, and Coaches who are interested in strengthening instructional leadership, supporting deep mathematical understanding, and preparing for the shifts in the 2022 Math Standards. District Leadership Teams and/or Site Leadership Teams may benefit from this event as well.

Delivery: Six 90-minute Virtual Sessions

IN-PERSON Community of Practice: District Literacy Leads

October 23, 2025, November 20, 2025, January 22, 2026, February 19, 2026, March 19, 2026, & April 16, 2026

A forum for members to discuss, problem solve, share information and build relationships around their common role. With the guidance from the Regional Literacy Networks, participants will engage in professional development that will support the Local Certified Facilitators in supporting their district in achieving the goals of the MN READ Act.
