On behalf of the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), the Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement (CAREI) is conducting a statewide survey to understand the degree to which the Minnesota Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MnMTSS) framework is being implemented across the state and various regions and how MDE and COMPASS can better support school districts in their work to implement the framework and meet all students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs. Our ask of District, Charter and Tribally Controlled Schools: To ensure your district’s perspective is included in our data, we ask that you forward this email and the instructions that follow to an individual (“survey lead”) you believe to be most knowledgeable about MnMTSS implementation in your district. Please note that only one collective team from your district should complete the survey—to avoid overlapping efforts, we ask that you do not have multiple teams or leadership groups submitting responses separately. The survey lead, should they be willing, will be responsible for completing the survey with the help of a team they identify (ideally 2-5 members of a district leadership team). Your district’s information will not be reported publicly, though your district’s survey team may download a PDF copy of your district’s responses upon completing the survey. Thank you for your leadership and for your support in gathering data that can inform how we support Minnesota districts!
Best regards,
