Subject: Hearing Him

Daily encouragement for men of faith
“ And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord...but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:

12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.”

~ 1 Kings 19:11-12 KJV
Imagine you are on a conference call line with God.

Unfortunately, you two are not the only ones on the line. Other attendees include: fear, frustration, temptation, lust, doubt, and the devil.

Each of which are speaking loudly.

Two facts remain true on this conference call line:
  1. God never raises his voice
  2. The others never lower theirs
There is a mute button, however.

A button, when pressed, disables the audio of all the voices you do not desire to hear.

Prayer is that button. Envision every prayer that you send up equivalent to hitting mute on an unwanted attendee.

The more you pray, the more clearly you can hear the quiet voice of God.

Friend, there is nothing on earth you will ever face that prayer cannot overcome. Don't ever forget about its power.

Whatever you are facing today, give it to God in prayer. That you will be able to hear his instruction on how to overcome what is presenting itself as insurmountable in your life.

God has already given you the keys to your destiny, prayer will unlock door for you to inherit it all.

Let’s pray…

“Father help me pray more, doubt less, and hear you more clearly. Give me the heart to pray for my loved ones and my enemies. I know there is nothing more powerful than prayer and I thank you for granting me with the ability to unleash it in my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”

Prayer is greater than your situation. Spread th word...
