All it takes is one step of faith.
One step forward on the direction God has created you to go. Then he'll do the rest.
Many times we can become paralyzed from moving by trying to figure everything out beforehand.
This is understandable for men because we need to ensure we are not putting ourselves or our family in harms way. We also like to understand what we're doing before we do it.
Doesn't work like that with God and faith.
God already has it all figured out for you. He would never call you down a path that would lead to destruction.
He simply won't show you the whole picture until you prove you are willing to trust Him enough to take one step of faith.
Maybe that step is saying "good bye". It could mean enrolling in school. Perhaps moving to another state.
Whatever the call on your life is, just be willing to take the first step and watch how mightily God will move on your behalf.
Remember, God already has provision for the vision; and the path has already been paved.
He's just waiting on your faith to command your feet to take the journey.
Let's pray...
"Father I trust you. Though I will never have all the answers I will still step out on faith anyhow. I rebuke the fear of the unknown in my life right now. No man will ever understand your ways or figure you out and I don't want to. I'm ready to live a life of faith filled with promise and purpose. Lord I'm ready to take one step of faith towards my promise. In Jesus name I pray, Amen." |
