This is your personal invitation to a benefit concert on Saturday, October 24, at Watts Hall, 174 Main Street in Thomaston!

Join us for a fantastic night featuring two Maine bands with special ties to MCMA:

The Speed of Sound — The indie soul-rock project of our friend Spencer Albee (Rustic Overtones, As Fast As) MCMA guitar instructor Zack Bence (Griffin William Sherry, Becca Biggs Band), Caleb Sweet (Wolff Sisters) and Jake Greenlaw (Toughcats).

MKTrio — The heart project of MCMA alumni Myles Kelley and Owen Markowitz. These phenomenal musicians started studying at MCMA in middle school and are now joined by August Duclos on upright bass. They describe their music as loud, quiet, medium, locally grown, and unflinching.

We’re transforming beautiful Watts Hall into a cozy space with awesome live music, delicious bites from Dot’s Market, a cash bar by Waterworks, and exciting raffle prizes featuring getaways and local experiences!

All ages welcome. Your ticket supports MCMA’s mission to keep quality music education and community programming accessible to all.
