Dear Friend
This is the final email - and last chance to be a part of the fundraising campaign for our Homeless documentary series. If you have already jumped in and contributed, thank you!
It ends tomorrow. We're at about 25% of our goal, and we need to surpass it.
I won't say any more about the project - I've said all I can already, but all the info is on the campaign page, should you desire. I will say though, the response has been overwhelmingly great over the last few weeks - We now have 49 backers.
I can't wait to begin the project, I will say. Filming looks like it will take place in February, with the campaign beginning around March. Our partner organisation can't wait to see what we're going to film, and include our interviews in the campaign (which they're currently formulating). They've seen what we have produced so far, and know that hearing from the homeless themselves is going to be such a compelling way for the city to hear their message.
We're putting together some awesome interview questions, which will directly address what's keeping people on the streets and expose the disconnect between the people at the top, and those on the street.
But my favorite question is still: If you could have a meeting with the Mayor, and tell him anything you'd like, what would that be?
..I'm grateful you spared a moment to read this! Thank you!
with best wishes, Matt
