Subject: WASHINGTON: Action Alert for Cottage Food

There are two companion bills in Washington state that seek to increase the sales cap on cottage food operations from $25,000 to $50,000, SB 5107 and HB 1500.

 

Senate Bill 5107 (SB 5107) is set for a public hearing on February 14 at 4 pm in the Senate Committee on Ways & Means in anticipation of other legislative action.

TAKE ACTION


Contact your state Senator asking him/her to vote YES on SB 5107. If your Senator is on the Senate Committee on Ways & Means (listed HERE), please call him/her as soon as possible since this bill will be heard on February 14 at 4 pm.

 

A phone call is much more effective than an email. And remember to keep the conversation polite and to-the-point.
