Subject: North Dakota – Action Alert for Raw Milk Bill!

Dear Friend,

On March 16, the Senate Ag Committee in North Dakota is holding a hearing on the sale of raw milk. If passed House Bill 1515 (HB 1515) would allow any raw dairy producer to sell raw milk to the end consumer for personal consumption. The sale could take place on the farm, at a farmers market, delivered to a consumer’s home, basically anywhere other than a retail setting. HB 1515 also would exempt producers from permits, licenses, or labeling by the Department of Health or Department of Agriculture. If HB 1515 passes, it would increase access to raw milk in the state.

HB1515 will be heard on March 16th by the Senate Ag Committee. So please act now!
