Flint, MI — Grab your friends and get ready for a night of laughter, shopping, and self-care as Sloan Museum of Discovery hosts its annual Galentine’s Day celebration on February 27, 2026, 6-10 p.m. This popular event, sponsored by Dort Financial Credit Union, brings the community together for an evening dedicated to celebrating friendship while supporting a meaningful local cause, Shelter of Flint.
Galentine’s Day will feature over 70 local vendors, offering everything from handmade goods and gifts to unique finds. Guests can enjoy a variety of free activities throughout the evening, including karaoke, a photo booth, fabric marbling, and gel nail services provided by students from Transition School of Cosmetology at Mott Community College.
Pampering is a must at Galentine’s Day, with optional services such as mini facials, massages, and other self-care experiences available for guests looking to treat themselves. A selection of specialty drinks will also be available for purchase to keep the celebration going. Guests can also take part in a scavenger hunt happening during the event, with one lucky winner receiving a grand prize trip to Club Barbados. It’s the perfect mix of fun, teamwork, and a little friendly competition.
Tickets are just $5.00/person (18+) and may be purchased in advance or at the door, making Galentine’s Day an affordable and unforgettable night out. In the spirit of giving, attendees are encouraged to bring donations for Shelter of Flint. The shelter is currently in need of personal care items; donations will be accepted throughout the event.
