New Exhibit at Sloan Museum of Discovery Opens May 24!
New Hall of Heroes Interactive Exhibit Opens May 24 at Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint, Michigan

Sloan Museum of Discovery opens their newest special traveling exhibit, Hall of Heroes, on May 24, 2025, in the FUN Gallery exhibition hall. Hall of Heroes brings guests into the world of superheroes, crime-fighters, gadgets, and spies through an immersive experience.

The exhibit showcases movie props, replicas, and rare artifacts from major motion pictures and TV shows, including the 1966 George Barris Batmobile replica and bat cave, and Keva plank building stations with the 1989 Keva Batmobile. Four dioramas cover the decades of heroes in American culture from comics, radio, TV and movies. There will also be plenty of photo opportunities with life-sized displays of Hulk, Iron Man, Wonder Woman, and other famous comic book and movie characters. This family-friendly exhibit will include challenging hands-on activities that test reaction times and physical abilities, giving kids of all ages the chance to "test their superpowers."

The Hall of Heroes exhibit add-on ticket is only $5 per person plus general admission (kids under age 2 and Members of Sloan and Longway get free exhibit and museum entry). For residents of Genesee County, general admission is always free, thanks to the Genesee County Arts Education and Cultural Enrichment Millage that voters passed in 2018. For more information go to SloanLongway.org/Heroes.
