| | Due to a water main break that happened during some construction activity next to Longway Planetarium, all shows will be cancelled Friday, January 30, AND Saturday, January 31, 2026. For Friday, this includes Skies Over Michigan at 3 p.m., T.Rex at 4 p.m., Queen Light Show at 7 p.m., and Dark Side Light Show at 8 p.m. For Saturday, this will include cancelling Armstrong at Noon, Cosmic Colors at 1 p.m., T.Rex at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Skies Over Michigan at 3 p.m., Queen Light Show at 7 p.m., and Dark Side Light Show at 8 p.m.
Sloan Museum was not affected and is open with normal business hours.
If you have already purchased a show ticket at Longway Planetarium for today or tomorrow you may either exchange your ticket for another day or receive a full refund by calling Guest Services at (810) 237-3400.
While we do expect the water main to be fixed by the end of Saturday Jan. 31, this is an ongoing and unexpected situation so please check Longway's web page www.Longway.org or to Longway's Facebook page for updates and to learn when we can re-open the planetarium building and theater. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve this situation. |
