Subject: Want To Know Why Your Dojo Is Failing?

Friend,

I try to stay out of discussions on martial arts and business online. The reason why is because most of the time giving unsolicited advice is like pissing in the wind...

...in the end all your efforts are wasted, and the only thing you have to show for your time is that you pissed yourself.

The other day I saw someone bitching about another art, and how they had a great marketing machine, but their art was shit, blah, blah, blah. Basically, the old sour grapes routine.

Which brings me to the point of today's email. Do you want to know why most martial art school owners fail? It's not for lack of a willingness to work, because if you got a school off the ground then you know how to work.

So is it a lack of information? Not in today's world. Hell, we have more information at our fingertips than at any previous time in the history of the planet.

Which means it must be something else. Read this article to find out what it is:

P.S. - It's tough seeing someone succeeding in business who you perceive to be an inferior martial arts instructor, or who you think is teaching an inferior style or system. But sitting around bitching about it isn't going to do a damned thing to help you succeed. Instead, you should be trying to figure out how they're able to do so well financially while selling an inferior service. Just some food for thought.
