Subject: Leaving Your Job, and Olympic Judo Gold...

Friend,

A curious "complaint" that I hear from martial arts instructors who decide to leave their day jobs to teach full-time, is that their friends and family often react negatively to their decision.

Well, this guy left his high-paying corporate job as a mergers and acquisitions attorney to play with Legos.

You heard me right - he went from lawyering to Legos. Like a boss.

He even mentions that some of his family and friends thought he was crazy. Well, maybe he was a little... but he decided to try it and see where it went.

Now, his exhibitions are shown around the globe, and he's internationally known for his work.

So, don't let others talk you out of your dreams.

And speaking of which, congrats to Team U.S.A.'s Kayla Harrison, who won her second Olympic gold medal by submission yesterday.

Until next time,

Mike Massie

P.S. - I've always been a dreamer. People called me childish, unrealistic, and immature for dreaming big. But I've found that dreams are only childish when you don't follow through with a legitimate plan to achieve them.
