Subject: Item #5 On The Dojo Success To-Do List...

Friend,

Item #5 on the list of things you need to do to maximize your profits in your dojo is just that...

...you need to do thing that maximize your profits!

I know that sounds redundant, but up to this point I've really been addressing things that should be automatic to anyone who is even remotely business savvy.

(That's one of the things that amazes me about martial art school owners in general, by the way - the fact that so many people in our industry think they can ignore rules and axioms that apply to every other kind of business...)

Things like keeping your overhead low and your profit margins high (#1), always be marketing (#2), having an effective sales process in place (#3), and doing everything you can to retain clients for the long haul (#4) - those are all things that EVERY small business needs to do.

But in our industry, there are a ton of other things you can do to increase the profits your dojo generates. And the really cool thing is, by doing those things, you'll also be increasing the level of service you offer your clients.

In short, by keeping your clients happy, you'll also be increasing your profits. In fact, I can show you how to increase your school's current profits by 50% or more, without increasing your overhead at all - just by doing things your clients already wish you would do for them.

If you want to know more about how to do exactly that, you'll want to check out the book link I shared with you yesterday.

Until next time,

P.S. - Yes, I cover both retention strategies and profit-maximization strategies in the book. The two are so tightly intertwined, I really couldn't address one without the other when I wrote that book.
