Start The Year Right and Reprogram Your Brain With Seminars, Courses, and Coaching

(continuing education hours available)

Today is the beginning of a new chapter in your life and mine. I don't know about you but as I get older (going to be 69 this year) I continue to seek to get healthier, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Life is too short to stay stuck in whatever our struggles are.

I am still doing online counseling for Teledoc and a couple of EAP Agencies but I am moving more and more toward providing affordable online training and group coaching that people can do at their own pace and if needed, can get continuing education hour certificates.

Christian Women- Silently Dying From Alcohol

In a longitudinal study called "Study of Women's Health Across the Nation"  the researches observed that in the past 10 years, rates of Alcohol Use Disorders have increased by 84% in women, relative to a 35% increase observed in men.

The study indicated that older adults are drinking the most with a 35% increase among 45-65 years old and a 58% increase among individuals over 65 years old.

Another startling study by the Rand Corporation indicated that during the pandemic women have increased their heavy drinking days by 41% compared to before the pandemic.

Women of faith have joined in on the "mommy needs wine" coping solution to the tremendous stress they went through working from home with all the kids or being isolated from loved ones.

It is for these reasons I am offering support to those who are less likely to reach out for help because of the stigma and the lack of understanding that well meaning church staff have when dealing with addiction.

More people have PTSD than you realize!

We all come from backgrounds where we may have witnessed trauma or been involved with someone who has.

Whether it is childhood trauma or things that have happened since then, how we choose to deal with trauma will be the key to our mental health.

When we haven't learned how to identify and deal with the pain, confusion, guilt, anxiety and depression, we may develop coping mechanisms that aren't so healthy like using substances, getting angry or otherwise being self-destructive or hurtful to others.

I have created a seminar that offers a basic underrstanding of what to look for and in yourself and others, and how to heal.

Just click the link below to find out more and get a ton of resources, tools to reprogram your brain to overcome anxiety and depression and to be able to practice better coping mechanisms.
