Dear Kid Chess Parents,


Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Sarah Smith! We are excited about seeing all our chess students Today, Thursday, September 17th.
 
This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Sarah Smith Chess Club


Days & dates
Club meets on Thursdays, starting September 17th, and ending December 10th, with Trophy Day.


Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:15pm - 3:30pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:40pm - 4:40pm

Club location
Main Campus (Old Ivy) - Auditorium


Club does not meet
10/15 & 11/26


Pick up location

Dismissal will be at the cafeteria doors in the carpool lane. Parents will need to leave cars to pick up students. IDs will be required at time of pickup.

*Before the first meeting of club, Parents must change their student’s end-of-school-day dismissal procedure for every student enrolled in SAS Extras, in ParentSquare excluding full-time SAS Aftercare students.


*Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
