Dear Kid Chess Parents,


Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Morningside! We are excited about seeing all our chess students Friday, September 18th.
 
This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Specially designed for kids, this fun and educational app will assist our coaches in identifying your child's strengths, and pinpointing areas where they can achieve their greatest growth. Join us in unlocking their potential!

Morningside Chess Club


Days & dates
Club meets on Friday, starting September 18th, and ending December 11th, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:15pm - 3:30pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:40pm - 4:40pm

Pick up location

Dismissal will be at the carpool closest to the gym. Parents will need to get out and retrieve their students with their Ids.

*On days when chess club meets, Parents must change their student’s end-of-school-day dismissal procedure for every student enrolled in MAS Extras, in PIK MY KID including full-time MAS Aftercare students. Updates must be in by 10 AM.


**Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
