Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Rocky Mount! We are excited about seeing all our chess students on Tuesday, August 25th.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Rocky Mount Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Tuesday, starting August 25th, and ending November 17th, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:30pm to 3:30pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:40pm to 4:40pm

Media Center

Club does not meet
9/22, 10/13, & 11/3

Pick up location

Dismissal will be located at carpool which is the side of the school outside of the cafeteria and ASP desk.

* On Days when the chess club meets, please update GoSafe with Club or ASP as needed to attend chess after school. Without updated dismissal, students will not be able to attend club.

** Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
