Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Simpson! We are excited about seeing all our chess students Tuesday, August 25th.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Simpson Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Tuesday, starting August 25th, and ending January 5th, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 3:45pm - 4:45pm
• 2nd Hr - 4:55pm - 5:55pm

Club location
Media Center

Club does not meet
10/13, 11/3, 11/24, 12/1, 12/22, & 12/29

Pick up location

Dismissal will be in the side carpool lanes. Students will be dismissed from the doors closest to the front of the building. Parents may park or wait in the carpool line to pick up their child. Please sign out for your child.

* On days when chess club meets, please send your child to school with a note for their teacher saying that they will be attending chess after school.

**Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
