I want to be clear about what this combo actually includes, because the value here gets lost in spec sheets. You're getting the camera, the cooler (−45°C delta, dual-stage TEC), a built-in 8-position filter carousel, and four custom Optolong filters already sized and cut for this camera: standard LPR, heavy LPR, UV-IR cut, and a four-channel enhancement filter. That's a complete filtered, cooled deep sky system in a body that's roughly the size of a coffee mug.

The sensor is the Sony IMX585 BSI CMOS — 92% peak QE, 8MP. In Linearity HDR mode, read noise drops to 1.0e- and dynamic range hits 93dB (15.5 stops). For light-polluted skies, the combination of active cooling and built-in LPR filters is the setup I'd reach for. At $965 all-in, this is exceptional value.
