Pantry Clean Out Day 3: Condiments

Did you know that condiments are one of the most expensive items (by weight) in a grocery store? When I first heard that, I was first of all shocked and then a bit mad. Because the items tend to be small in nature, it seems as if the pricing is reasonable. But if you look closely at the descriptive tag that's clipped to the shelf, you'll see what you're getting for you money. 

The good news is, many condiments are easy to make right at home. Salad dressing can be as simple as olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon, a dash of salt, pepper and spices (rosemary, thyme, etc.)
