Looking back on this year, Interestingly, my children's ghostwriting has taken off. Sometimes, we focus on one particular aspect of our business and another niche sneaks its way in.
So, I consider myself very fortunate in that I still delve deeply into content marketing and inbound marketing and offer e-classes through WOW! Women on Writing and video workshops through Working Writers Club, but I also get to work on another niche I love, writing for children.
The lesson for me here (and, maybe you too) is don't close your eyes to other avenues, other niches of work. If you're talented in an area, see where it can lead you. If you're butting your head against a wall working in a particular niche with not much success, don't waste your precious time, find something else that will produce more results.
Bottom line, focus on what's working. Devote your time, efforts, and yes, even money if need be, on what will help you achieve your goals.
