I was sitting at my desk working through the pile of invoices when I first got the call from the Governor's campaign finance team. Friend, could you imagine the look on my face? Maybe just a bit of surprise? 💫
How often do you get an opportunity host a fundraiser for a Presidential candidate? And for someone you actually like? I'm fortunate and thankful that the Inslee campaign reached out to me about supporting his bid for the highest land in the office. After several conversations and talks with my mentor, I decided that this would be a great opportunity to continue to build off of the foundation we have been laying here at Onpoint Real Estate, which is to create access to build wealth. Now, in this instance, we're talking about relationship wealth.
It was important to me that we had a fundraiser that allowed access for those who aren't the high rollers and the high donors. I wanted to make sure we created an opportunity for those who may not have disposable funds to attend the event as well. You will see the various levels of entry, the lowest being $35. Often times it's money that keeps our community from participating in the political process and I appreciate the Inslee team understanding this reality. I hope you take advantage of meeting and hearing from our Governor and Presidential candidate, Jay Inslee and RSVP for June 29th! I look forward to seeing you there. Jaebadiah kicked off the summer and hosted a fundraiser for Girmay who's running for King County District 2 seat. It was a great community event. The weather was spectacular and we had a tremendous turn out with music, food and drinks. What better way to break in the Onpoint Real Estate rooftop! Thank you to everyone who came out to support.
