Let's Build Wealth
Tacoma Seminar
March 25, 2017
It says something about a Municipality when they come to a boutique, locally & Minority owned company to present to their community about the importance of building wealth through real estate. I want to thank the City of Tacoma for their vision and leadership in recognizing the strategic advantage of giving a company like Onpoint Real Estate Services, LLC an opportunity to share with others how they can maximize their existing real estate portfolio, get ahead of gentrification or get started in this real estate game. From buying/selling homes to managing condo buildings, to developing apartments, we could only cover so much ground in 3 hours. Special thanks to the President of the Urban League of Tacoma and the City of Tacoma Government Director of Community and Economic Development. You guys are pioneering! Hopefully other cities will step their game up and do more than just talk about supporting locally owned Minority business and communities. If you missed this one, keep on the look out for round 2!

Know Your Backyard
#EducateandEmpower
April 10, 2017
As a real estate company that is heavily invested in our community, we feel that it is a moral obligation to share the tools we use to identify properties ripe for future development and as well share the tools for existing permitted projects that our community may not be aware of until it’s too late or too far down the development pipeline. Our hope in creating this event was to give the community an inside look at development within the city of Seattle and empower everyone with the knowledge so that everyone may be able to have influence on the developments that are happening in our backyard. Special thanks to Sole Repair for sponsoring us with their beautiful venue for us to use. Also, a huge shout out to everyone who came out and collaborated with us. We hope to do more events that relate back to our community because there is no "us" without you! If there are some questions and/or topics you want us to touch base on in our next event, Email our event coordinator, Michelle Dinh - Michelle@onpoint-properties.com

Dru Hill Stays Onpoint!
Onpoint Team Member of the Month!
Meet one of our amazing Onpoint brokers, Dru Hill! He is currently working with several buyers, helping them navigate this very challenging and competitive housing market. Many people consider this a seller's market and while a lot of buyers are put at a significant disadvantage, Onpoint believes that Dru's expertise, coupled with the knowledge base of the Onpoint team, has allowed his clients to compete and win. He's a member of Young Professionals of Seattle and have recently made connections with the African Chamber of Commerce and several other organizations as he works to use my career and skill set to bring about positive change in Seattle and across the globe.

We asked him what he does in his free time and replied "What is the free time thing that you speak of? My wife, Mariasol and cat, Mr. Beaujangles take up a great deal of my "non-working" time. I really enjoy sports, collecting and drinking whiskey, movies, watching tv and reading. Music and Dance have always been passions of mine which is probably why you'll almost always catch me singing or dancing my way thru my day. This summer I am committed to becoming more of an outdoor person and I'd love to take a couple road trips and visit small towns throughout the Pacific North West. I should probably mention that I absolutely love small towns, and estate sales... I really love estate sales."

If Dru could travel any where in the world he would most definitely go to Greece. He loves traveling and there are a million places he would love to visit but he can't resist ancient history and Greek mythology. Therefore, Greece would definitely be his first stop. Also, He's sure Rick Ross has convinced us all that Santorini, Greece is the place to be. His goal every single day in life is to leave each place he visits and each person he meets a little better than when he first encountered it/them. On a grand scale, his biggest goal in life is to take all of his talents, abilities and experience and pull them all together to create the best and most impact company ever. He'd absolutely love to be able to employ all of his friends and family doing things that they love and are passionate about. All of our efforts would go towards improving the lives of as many people as possible the best way that we know how.
