Subject: 🟢🏇Wednesday Winners Inside?

Good Evening, Friend

Wednesday Winners?

I've a few things for you this evening, as always some will be of interest, some won't!

First up, tomorrow's blog post is up, with Wednesday's 'stats starting points' and November trainer qualifiers. Plenty of time to have a good look and with any luck pick out some winners on Wednesday...

Today's Nov qualifiers had x3 winners, and the 'stats starting points' have a had a good few days, firing out numerous winners, and at decent prices (they find plenty of shorties also), inc x4 today and others at 9/2, 3/1, 10/1 & 8/1 over the weekend. As always, the challenge is landing on the right ones! I didn't do a very good job of that on Saturday when I last emailed out, alas.

I only watched two races today, one of which was from Lingfield, a handicap chase deservedly won by a Nov Trainer Qualifier, Hurlontheditch. The Warren Greatrex trained Tactical Affair was the one that caught my eye, on seasonal return and chase debut, a yard whose horses usually come on bundles for the run. He cruised around, jumped well, and for a time looked as though he may threaten, before tiring. His best form is also on proper soft ground, which may help. He's unexposed over fences and one to keep an eye on. I'll be surprised if he isn't going close soon in a soft ground handicap chase. James Bowen had him prominent which is generally where I like a chaser to be.

Meanwhile, my 'selection' eyes have been doing ok (although not on Saturday!), since the first day of Cheltenham Festival now standing at 126 bets / 17 wins / 50 places (inc wins) / +83 points (1 point bets) / 66% ROI. I'm keeping track properly in my 'Geegeez bet tracker'.

I'll be trying my best to add to the pile as the winter clicks into gear, but as always, a large thrust of my content & approach is to help you find your own winners, which are much more satisfying.

Aintree Hospitality: Becher Chase Day 2024, Sat 7th December

We've had a few tickets become available for our next 'Racing to Profit Syndicate' hospitality day at Aintree in a few weeks time. It's a great crowd, with 40 there already, and we do have lots of fun, including in Liverpool post racing. (you're not obliged to join for that part, but you should!)

Tickets include entry, private tables, 2 course buffet roast, access to a cash bar, betting, views over the course etc. We all sit together, I run a tipping competition, and we have a decent time. Tickets at cost are £155 per head.

If any of you loyal readers of my emails would like to join us, please do email me back asap, it would be great to see you there!

A new horse with Toby Lawes? based near Dorking...

It's been all go with the 'syndicate' arm of all things RTP. We've just added another flat horse with Amy in Newmarket, Spiritualism, who won LTO at Kempton and we're very excited about as a 3YO. Our existing185 strong existing ownership team had first dibs and a few of those snapped up all the shares, for what is now syndicate horse #11.

We're in the process of trying to find another jumper to send to Mark Walford in Yorkshire, to replace our injured Blazing Soldier who hurt himself on the gallops and will need a new career in time. We're assessing a few options at the moment.

However, we have no horses south of London, and a few of our owners have asked us to correct this glaring omission, so we've started thinking.

The other week I went to visit the yard of Toby Lawes, a very impressive set up, and one day would like to send him shopping for a future chaser. He's made a great start to his training career, with a relatively small string, having learnt plenty from his old boss Nicky Henderson. His bumper and chase strike-rate is mad, and in the top 7 nationally. He's a young trainer going places.

The plan would be to send Toby shopping with a £20-30k budget, to buy a future chasing sort from the Irish point fields, and to go from there. Around 50% of our existing ownership base has registered their firm interest in this idea, and I thought best to ask if any of you would be keen!

If so, you can use the form below, which includes some projected costs. Please, no tyre kickers :) Have a think and if something you'd be seriously interested in, pop your name down on the form. If we get enough interest we will press on. Other trainers in the region are on my radar also, and at some point we'll edge over to the south west, but for now, Toby's in a great location just south of London, which may appeal to many. We shall see!
